WebGym UK
Privacy and Cookie Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Current scope
This policy applies to the UK website and its contact and early-access forms. The site does not yet offer accounts or access to the management platform, member app or WebDesk in the UK.
1. Who is responsible
JHONY MENDONÇA - CONSULTORIA LDA, trading as WebGym, is responsible for information collected through this site. Its VAT number is PT518109739 and its address is Rua Professor Mota Leite, n.º 15, 1.º 14, 4700-752 Palmeira, Braga, Portugal. Contact us at support@webgym.uk.
2. Information we collect
When you contact us or request early access, we process information you provide, such as your name, email, phone number, fitness-space details and message. We also process basic technical and security information needed to operate and protect the site and its forms.
3. How and why we use it
- To respond to enquiries and early-access requests: steps you ask us to take before a possible contract and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To prevent automated submissions and abuse using Cloudflare Turnstile: our legitimate interest in site security.
- To measure site use and advertising campaigns: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in cookie preferences.
- To meet legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims: legal obligation or legitimate interests, as applicable.
4. Service providers
We use providers to operate these services, including Firebase/Google for infrastructure and analytics where allowed; Google Fonts to deliver the site’s typefaces; Cloudflare Turnstile to protect forms; Plunk to manage form-related email delivery; and Meta for advertising measurement only where allowed. Google Ads is not used on this UK site.
5. Cookies and similar storage
The site stores your cookie choice for one year and your language preference in your browser’s local storage. Google/Firebase analytics and Meta advertising measurement remain off until you allow them. Depending on your choice, these providers may use identifiers such as Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) or Meta’s (_fbp). You can accept, reject or select each purpose in the initial notice, and change or withdraw your choice at any time using “Cookie preferences” in the footer.
Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical browser information when the form is displayed or used to prevent abuse. This security check is not used for advertising.
6. Retention and international transfers
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and manage early access, and afterwards for any period needed for legal obligations or claims. Providers may process information outside the UK; where restricted transfers apply, we use the transfer mechanisms and safeguards required by UK data-protection law.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and withdraw consent. Contact us at support@webgym.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
8. Contact and changes
For privacy questions, email support@webgym.uk. We will update this policy if the site, providers or our legal obligations change; the date above shows the latest review.
